When the Archive released its 7-track "RR bundle" back in May, the most used and familiar RR track was oddly missing. Perhaps they couldn't find it at the time, they forgot it, or maybe they just held on to it until now on purpose? Regardless, those who worried we might not get it will be happy that its now been released. And that it finally has a track name.
This was the most used RR tune, appearing in episodes 2, 12, 15, 20 & 24 (in the RR), and in episode 21 (at Wallies). There is still one country track that was played in the RR (in episode 26) that remains unreleased, but that track is better known as the One Eyed Jacks tune since it was played there first (in episodes 6 & 12). Perhaps that one will pop up at a later date. Here's my (slightly updated) guide to the RR country tracks.
Thanks to the TP Archive for not forgetting about this one! As always, the archive has been an amazing gift to fans. No new art this week as this one goes in my "RR Songs" category. But go grab "Northwest Gulch" from davidlynch.com and add it to your jukebox!

ReplyDeleteJakub- I decided to lump the 4 RR tracks together with one cover. I did, however, update the art to include the track names (Northwest Gulch, Secret Country, Picking On Country, & Western Ballad).

ReplyDeleteI wish I knew! Seems like every time there has been a holiday, the week's release gets held back a day or two, and then that becomes the new day for releases. Perhaps they are going back to an early in the week schedule (Sunday or Monday nights)? Hope we will see something soon!
ReplyDeleteMe too! Me too! I'd hate to think that's the end of it. I saw someone had posted the first 45 tracks on several file sharing sites, which isn't great. I know Lynch would be inclined to just pull releases if that happens a lot. Fingers crossed we see something very soon!
ReplyDeleteHopefully they are just shifting back to an early in the week release schedule & we will see something tonight or tomorrow night. There is still a ton of stuff to release. And I would stress that fans need to buy and support these releases if they want them to continue!
