New Archive Release: Love Theme (Dark)

This week's new one-track release is the version of the Love Theme that's heard in episode 12, in the memorable scene where Donna tells Harold a story for his "Living Novel". Its an extremely beautiful version of the track, and its surprising that it was only used in one episode of the series.

Love Theme (Dark) (2:28)
Episode 12: At Leland’s hearing, Truman speaks in Leland’s defense
Episode 12: Donna tells Harold the story of her, Laura, Josh, Rick, & Tim

I also added an "Unreleased List" above.

Hmmm, and what about Leland's Dance with his club at the Great Northen dining room? Sure, it might be NOT Badalamenti/Lynch. And also, as far as I hear, there is ANOTHER Jackoby Hawaiian tune - we can hear this one in 1.08, at the very beginning, when Donna and James just enter his appartement.
And, um, maybe Lydecer's Clinic tune? :)

    1. I'm curious about "Leland's Dance" as well. I'm thinking its probably not Badalamenti, but of course I don't know.

The Hawaiian track at the start of ep 7 is actually just "Hula Hoppin'" slowed down to half speed.

And the Lydecker track is on my list as "Llama Country"

  2. kind of a letdown after last week's bundle, in all honesty. what's with the noise at the beginning of the song? assume that wasn't intended to be part of the track?

    1. In all honesty, I'd rather have bundles as well. But every piece of unreleased music is exciting to me, and I think we will eventually get everything they can find in the Archives.

And my version doesn't have any noise at the beginning. It sounds fine.

    2. hey, perhaps "noise" was not the most accurate word. the first split-second of the track sounds like the carryover of a prior song (a much higher note before the darker music kicks in). it's definitely subtle, but does yours not have that if you listen closely? (i downloaded mine in m4a if it makes a difference).

    3. I have the m4a as well, but I don't hear it. Anyone else?

  3. Another awesome tune, the list is getting smaller Ross

    1. Yes it is. Still a lot to look forward to though. Right now I'm most looking forward to "James & Evelyn" and the last Earle flute track.
